Enjoy Nature: Another great walking area nearby is the Orono Bog Boardwalk. Volunteers have been hard at work all summer and fall replacing old sections of the boardwalk. Never been? It’s an amazing 4,200 foot long boardwalk, with seven interpretive stations plus an orientation kiosk to educate visitors about the various habitats and wildlife present, as well as the geologic history of the Orono Bog.
