Free Event! Adventures in Acadia

Join us for an official Acadia National Park Centennial event at Dirigo Pines on July 5 at 7:15 p.m.! Dolores Kong and Dan Ring, the duo behind the “Acadia on My Mind” blog and sponsors of the free year-long 100-mile virtual Acadia Centennial Trek, share tales of their travels in Acadia.

From getting lost and found to experiencing trail magic, from encountering the elusive Spruce grouse to discovering a hidden colony of pink and white lady’s slippers, join us for an evening of adventure. As authors of Falcon hiking guides to Acadia National Park, they will also describe some of their favorite trails on Mount Desert Island, Schoodic, and Isle au Haut. This is a free event!

Date: Tuesday, July 5

Time: 7:15 – 8:30 p.m.

Location: Dirigo Pines Inn
Penobscot Media Room
